The APS is Australia's largest professional association for psychologists and aims to advance psychology as both a professional and scientific discipline in Australia. The APS website has information for the public as well on various psychological and mental health issues.
American Psychological Association (APA) (International affiliate member)
The APA is the largest psychological association in the world and aims to promote psychology as both a professional and scientific discipline, as well as in the community. The APA website has all sorts of interesting resources, articles and news stories relating to psychology and mental health.
International Association for Relational Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy (IARPP)
The IARPP aims to promote Relational Psychoanalysis and psychotherapy around the world.
International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS)
The ISTSS is an interdisciplinary association devoted to the study of traumatic stress.
International Cultic Studies Association (ICSA)
ICSA is a global network of professionals and others devoted to helping persons who have been negatively impacted by psychological abuse and manipulation in the context of high demand groups and/or cultic groups and situations. It attempts to provide education, encourage research, and train professionals in this area.

Psychoanalytically-Oriented Psychologists Interest Group (POPIG)
POPIG aims to promote interest in psychoanalytic psychology for psychologists, other mental health practitioners, and the public. POPIG hosts regular meetings and professional development activities.
Diverse Bodies, Genders, and Sexualities
This APS interest group aims to promote an understanding of LGBTIQ issues in psychology and support the health and wellbeing of the LGBTIQ community. The Diverse Bodies, Genders, and Sexualities website also contains a public interest section devoted to LGBTIQ issues in psychology that you may find useful and helpful.
Trauma and Psychology Interest Group (TAPIG)
TAPIG is devoted to education and professional support to psychologists with a special interest in psychological trauma.
Military and Emergency Services and Psychology Interest Group
This APS interest group was developed to provide education and professional support to psychologist who work with currently serving and/or ex-military, emergency services, and police personnel, and have an interest in this population.
